Y Notes Performance
Miles signed up for the Y Notes choir at the after school program this year. He participated from January - June. They practiced every Wednesday and had three performances at the end of the school year. The first was at a retirement home, the second at the YMCA annual meeting, and the last was in the town green on a real stage! (Yaya went to the first performance, since it happened while we were in VA.) I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the song choices, it wasn't the usual fare. The instructor loved that Miles was the only boy, he got center stage a bunch of times, and plenty of attention. :) He looked so cute in his tie, he insisted I get him a real one - no clip-ons for that boy! I cried a little when he introduced himself and just watching him follow along, he looked like such a big boy. It was extremely cute and entertaining. Jason wasn't able to go, he was down the street at Addie's gymnastics practice for her end-of-year show. She needed to start at the exact same time. So right after Miles was done, we booked it to the Y to see Addie.
Here he is waiting for his group's turn on stage. My mom had just enthusiastically waved to him, gushing about how cute he looked. He was mortified. We keep forgetting he is 6. Oops!
Here he is doing, "Chatter with the Angels".

And my personal favorite, "A Pirate's Life". Aren't those hats flippin' CUTE?!
