Saturday, had Miles' bday bowling party. It was so nice, and sooo much easier than last year. I love having parties for children away from the house - everything goes so much smoother. Here is the cake that all the boys loved playing with:

In the midst of birthday season..so far so good
Friday was Miles' bday and since we had school, (which included picture day) and after school activites, we were able to finally go to dinner around 6:30. Miles chose a Japanese place we love. We all enjoy the Hibachi show and the food is simply delicious. We got there and only had to wait 10-15 minutes, when Miles recognized someone from his school. The other kid brought a bag of Legos so soon they were engrossed in building all kinds of things. When our name was called to sit down, we were seated at the grill with the friend and his family. The kids all got along great and were chatting up a storm and definitely giving the cook a run for his money. :) The other couple was so nice, turns out she goes to my old gym, and recently went back to work after being home full time for 7 years too! We talked about school stuff and they shared their sushi. I think they were impressed Addie loves that stuff. We ordered our own, but it never arrived, not sure what was up with that. We had a nice time. Afterwards we went to Friendly's to share a big sundae. Yum!

Too bad I didn't think to get a nice picture with him in front. Oh well, can't win 'em all.
